I got together with a group of middle school/high school friends last night. Over dinner and drinks we caught up on a couple years of our lives. Stories about our love lives or lack thereof were among the most interesting. Meg, who dated I don't know how many guys in college after being a "good girl" in high school, has stuck with one for a while, and is looking for a job in Iowa so she can be near him. Brie works for the archbishop of the Twin Cities, and has a hard time getting a date because most of the men she knows and works with out there are celibate, and the others are married. Erin, the theater major, prefers the term fruit fly to fag hag, but either way, is surrounded by gay men. Jeannie got married when she was 20, and to my surprise at least, is still married. She reports that married people do have less sex.
