I've always been a great list-maker because I don't trust my memory when it comes to day to day stuff. I scribble song titles on a coffee-stained video store receipt in one of my car cupholders. I leave myself a note on my nightstand before I go to bed with the time I need to be up to accomplish whatever I need to do in the morning before work. Some lists are broader, and I never intend to accomplish everything on them. I have at least three notebooks and one planner where I keep the lists, and I have no desire to streamline my system.
