Concentrate!
It is a hell of a lot harder to focus on writing a paper or reading for class when you live with people who aren't doing the same thing. I miss the moral support of having dormmates or roommates were also spending their evenings doing work for class. My current roommates are watching football right now, making brownies, talking with their friends, and relaxing. I'm holed up in my cozy little room, sorting through papers on my red table, nursing a lukewarm cup of coffee, trying to pretend that I'm somewhere else or some time else, and that this is what everyone else is doing.
