Your new neighbhorhood fruit vendor
This had to come true eventually, didn't it? The apartment I'll be moving into this weekend, (unless some disaster strikes), is the one directly below Lindsay. Her apartment is slowly filling up with my boxes, which I've been taking over there as I pack them. The big move is happening on Sunday, but there is no room to move in my bedroom right now with all of the boxes that I've been packing, so somehow a portion of them has flowed over there.

I took a carload of boxes over this weekend, used some to prop the doors of her building, stacked the rest on the sidewalk and started carrying them up. I'm a fan of small, sturdy moving boxes with handles, and I've acquired banana boxes, milk crates, and other grocery-store type boxes over my many moves. As I came outside for another load, a child who lives in the building asked "How much you want?" I was confused, and Lindsay said "The kids think that you're selling fruit."

Comments:
So how much did you make?

I convinced the 6 year old that he was buying 25 lb of bananas, not 25 lb of my old college papers and made $10 off him. That'll pay for 1/5 of my parking ticket.

This, I can say now for a fact, is the best living situation ever. I'm gonna be sooooo spoiled by having you downstairs. I vote that ALL future housing arrangements be decided communally. Amanda & Charlie need to join us too.
