Rainy day
It's a cloudy, rainy day in Chicago. Feels kind of cozy though, like the skyscrapers pulled soft gray hats way down over their ears. Or maybe the buildings are wearing fluffy gray tutus and we're all looking up their skirts.
My bedroom windows leak. I woke up to the pleasant sound of raindrops on my window, and then noticed that the drops were awfully loud. Water was dripping from my blinds onto my windowsill. A few postcards were ruined, but it could be worse I suppose. It could have been snow.

Also worse: You could sleep under the window. You could have no ceiling! Or you could be a postcard and have to go through those sorting machines.
