Going low-tech I've been writing more than usual in recent weeks, but not in a shareable format. I picked up a manual typewriter an estate sale a month or two ago, had the ribbon replaced, and have fallen under the spell of typing in a real, physical way. There is no delete key on this baby, and you need to put a little finger muscle behind each keystroke or you get a faded ghost of a letter rather than the big bold, slightly blurry letter that a real punch produces. It's lovely to sit at the table with a glass of wine at the end of the night, noisily writing down some of the last thoughts of the day.
