Of course

Never am I more interesting to my dog than when I'm trying to write a paper. I'm sure this rule also works with toddlers, who probably whine louder than he does. Remind me not to have one of those any time soon.

Cats have this problem too. At least your dog can't jump on your keyboard and send people IMs that say asrguihp5y658i and the like.
