Libraries, libraries

I'm getting really sick of the law library at DePaul, so I'm over at the regular DePaul loop campus library, staring out the window at the Harold Washington library across the street. Its kind of strange to be at a school that is housed in large office buildings as opposed to smaller, more sprawling structures. The loop campus isn't much of a campus really, in that there aren't large areas of green space, or any outdoor areas really, that belong to the school. This isn't undergrad though, so it doesn't really matter, I mean, I don't live at school. And there are advantages to this setup. The bar in the basement of one of the buildings, the Barnes and Noble on the ground floor of the building I'm in now. The Art Institute is down the block for study breaks, and when things get really crowded in the library as finals approach, spacious Harold Washington is across the street.

Comments:
I have noticed the same thing about the Loop library as opposed to the LPC one. I love the views too, go upstairs to the student center and look off the balcony on the NW side - great skyline shot! And the B&N of course my employer!
