On the brown line this morning as I was going to turn in my final memo for legal writing

Woman 1 to Woman 2: "And so I was talking to this guy at work, and he said he had been working until 1:30 am. So I asked him what he did, and he said he was an editor. And then I said, hi, let me introduce myself. My name is Abby, and I can make sentences."

I too can make sentences. I can shorten sentences. I can shorten a 3700 word memo until it meets the 3000 word limit. Okay, that involved deleting a paragraph, but it also involved a lot of rewording and rephrasing, until word by word, I got it down to exactly 3000 words. And then I stopped. It feels damn good to have one class done with.
