Home sick

I started shivering during class last night, and ended up feeling so cold that I had to put on my coat and hat during the lecture. I drank hot chocolate on the el ride home, took my temperature when I got home, and discovered that I had a fever. A fever? Doesn't my body know I have things to do? A very important legal writing assignment is due soon, and I haven't done my reading for the rest of the week.

I decided that the rest of the night was shot, took some medicine and went to bed. I didn't sleep well, and when I woke up my fever had risen to 101. I decided the cold and flu stuff wasn't cutting it, and went and bought some Tylenol at my Mom's advice.

I've been alternating naps and reading all day, trying to get better and still be productive. It's been a pretty depressing way to spend the day. I haven't seen anyone besides the Jewel cashiers all day, and I need to go to the library to get more cases for this memo. Bleh.
