Attempting to resume normal lifeDespite the running around with friends, eating, drinking, shopping, watching movies, and wandering around town that I've been doing since school let out, I've been feeling a little blue. The lack of routine started to get to me. No more studying to do, no more seeing school friends every night, no more seeing Steven (who is in Indianapolis for the summer). I'm sure I'll get over it, but its taking a little time.
I'm back at work, which is helpful, but that is still leaving me with half a day to fill. Today I suggested to Danny that we bring out pets to the beach. I'd bring Henry and Blizzard, and he'd bring his guinea pigs, Joe and Sam. He was up for it, and we had a great time. The guinea pigs got to play in the sand, the dogs discovered an animal they liked even more than a squirrel, and we humans got to appreciate the sunshine and the lake breezes.
