After telling my landlord that I had seen evidence of a mouse, and had set some traps
Her: Now I'm really worried about this. If I've got one mouse, they could you know, lay eggs and then we'd have a problem.

She also advised me not to leave grains uncovered. Grains? Does she think we have a silo up here? Are we running a farm?
Hehe, no I don't think that Henry cares much about mice. Squirrels however...
The 'we're all girls here' is the landlord's reason for keeping the iron gate out front closed (no, there's no lock on it or anything). She thinks that it will somehow protect us.
