Well, my life may well have another completely fresh start. It had been looking more and more like going to Olivet College to get a teacher certification would be the best option for me, but now I'm considering masters programs at National Louis University and UIC. Big questions that need to be answered are, can I get in, can I afford to go, and most importantly, what advantages would each program offer? Would it be worth it? And do I really want to teach? Around this time last year I was dying to be accepted to Teach for America, and the concerns that I had then about the state of education in this country haven't gone away.
