A few minutes ago I experienced the feeling of my blood running cold. I'd heard the phrase before, but always thought that it was just an interesting way to describe a feeling of horror or fear. I can still remember the first time I physically felt heartbreak. One day in junior high I saw my crush object Josh holding hands with his new girlfriend Katie. I thought my chest was imploding, and remember thinking, wow, that's what they mean by heartbreak.
