I'm proud to say that despite being slightly drunk when I wandered over to Jewel tonight, I came home with mostly healthy food, Phish Food being the exception. As I was getting in line a guy with his arms full ran in front of me and dropped a ten pound bag of sugar and a few bottles of Sunny Delight onto the counter. I asked him why he was buying so much sugar. He was like, I'm having a party, and then gave me a knowing look/wink. I wondered what kind of a party you have with ten pounds of sugar and some orange-flavored, vitamin-fortified drink, but I didn't feel like asking. We then discussed the Olsen twins and the woman on the cover of Soap Opera digest who he thought looked like someone from Charlie's Angels.
