There has been a strong chocolate odor in the air on Glenwood Ave, the street just around the corner, since yesterday afternoon. I don't know where it's coming from but it was a pleasant surprise to smell it again this morning when I took Henry out for his morning walk. When I was (briefly) on the crew team freshman year, there was a chocolate factory near the Chicago River that we would row by each morning. When we passed we would breathe in deeply and enjoy the one good smelling breath of air we'd get while on the river.
