Pro Cras Ti Nation
As I may have mentioned before, I'm taking an evening class at NU this fall, Intro to IR. I'm giving a presentation on Tuesday, so I've been at the library for most of the day today, doing research, and yes, procrastinating. There's nothing like a deadline to make me interested in everything but the topic that I should be focusing on.
Lindsay caught a ride to Evanston with me, and came and found me in the library a few hours ago. We went and got some food at Norris (time warp), and then somehow got into a discussion about our weblogs. Design vs. content, comments vs. no comments, and how choosing a name for your blog is like choosing one for your band. As Linz pointed out, once you've decided on it, you're stuck with it, no matter how dumb it is. My url is freaking freshstartviele dot blogspot dot com for God's sake. Just plain freshstart was taken, eliina was the name of some other blog I had, and I think someone had already taken viele. Anyway, despite the name, I'm pretty content with my content, and that's what matters in the end.
