So happy
The pup and I spent our first night in the new apartment last night. It felt so good to be out of the place I was living in before, to pick out my own shower curtain at Target, to leave last night's dishes in the sink, and to know that I have no roommates. The new place is cute--huge South-facing windows in the bedroom and living room, nice kitchen cabinets, hardwood floors in every room but the bathroom.
My neighbors include some little kids who were curious about all of the moving commotion. One of girls who was probably 2 or 3 waved to and said bye-bye to each of us as we carried in a load of boxes, and gestured at the door and said la puerta la puerta! She wasn't satisfied until we closed the door.
The move was made possible by my amazing all-woman moving crew. Thanks ladies. I owe ya.
