Big Giant Torso

The summer before my senior year of high school, my Mom put me in charge of selecting the photo package I wanted for my senior pictures. I chose one that had enough 5x7's for the grandparents, an 8x10 for Mom and Dad, and plenty of wallet-sized pics to trade with my friends. This package also included a 24x30 portrait of me. I didn't realize how large this was until it arrived. It was many, many times larger than my own head. It was too ridiculous to display next to my sisters' 8x10 school portraits, so it went into a closet, and was brought out during family gatherings to tease me. We referred to it as the BGH, or Big Giant Head.

This Big Giant Torso picture appeared in an alley near my apartment recently, and I had to document it.
