Bummer

Lately I've been absorbing a lot of real-life sad stories. Some are from this week's torts readings on emotional harm (should a mother be able to cover for negligently inflicted emotional harm after having to stand by and watch while her son dies, trapped in an elevator shaft?), and some are from the new job working with domestic violence survivors. Its kind of getting me down. Or maybe its making me work some emotional muscles that I haven't had to work as much lately, so I'll be struggling a little until I get back into emotional shape.
