A mental ass-kicking

There's nothing like having excess time on your hands to induce a little mental ass-kicking. I mean, why not toss around the big questions like "what do you want to do with your life?" "who do you want to spend your time with?," "what is important in the long run?" while you've got some time to stew in the answers. The answers, which are of course, not really answers, but more questions.

This is actually a good thing. I was starting to think that I had lost interest in examining my own life, which is a sure sign that something is wrong.
