Any excuse to break out the new fall clothes

We've had our first few days of cool weather here in Chicago, but by the looks of what some people are wearing downtown, you'd think that we were in for snow. I do realize that those of us who walk or use public transit probably spend more time outside on a cool morning than car commuters do, but I don't really think that we need hats, scarves, and gloves yet folks. If you're new here I'm telling you right now, you're going to have plenty of time to wear those. It's in the 50s and 60s today, but it's going to get a lot worse.

Comments:
Oh, I love the fall. But yeah, I'm not looking forward to those days when it's dark when you leave the house and dark when you get home. Ugh. Might need to get a happy sunshine lamp or something.

I'm looking forward to cold days... turkey with gravy and falling asleep watching football afterwards, buying presents for people, days spent NOT studying with no guilt attached... oh you mean just cold days, not the holidays? I like bundling up, sweaters, blankets, using the comforter, hot chocolate, sitting in front of the heater vent at 6am and letting the heat blow up the back of your shirt while you read the morning news.

Heat when it's cold outside is much better than cold when it's hot outside.
