One last trip to Zephyr

Zephyr is closing. Yes, the home of delicious malts, huge ice cream sundaes, and ridiculous menu item names (who names an ice cream sundae Birth of Our Country?) will close its doors on October 22nd. Lindsay, Tara, Brendan and I took a trip down there this evening for one last treat, and to relive memories of our trips there during college. Ravenswood and Wilson felt really far away while we were living in Evanston. Now it's just down the street, but nothing else has changed. The service still wasn't good, and I still couldn't drink an entire malt.
