Rediscovering small joys
Like the joy of being home on a weeknight and hungry and studying, and having a Thai restaurant 3 blocks from your apartment. And while walking to said Thai restaurant to pick up your food, remembering that on the way there is a sushi place, a burger place, a hot dog shop, a bakery/cafe, and new Mexican restaurant. Cross the street on the way home and you pass the wine store (closed thankfully, or you'd be tempted), and a specialty chocolate shop.
*This is what it's like to live here, instead of virtually living at school down in the Loop.* I'm looking forward to hanging out around home again.
