Someone must keep stats on this

So the guy who fell onto the el tracks and died today is now reported to have slipped, but seriously, it seems like there is an el-related death every month or so. How many have there been in the past year? One at Wellington, one at Loyola, and now this one at Addison today. I was about to complain about how this person's grisly end inconvenienced me (I waited sat on the red line for 20 minutes at Wilson, listening to delay announcements before realizing what was going on, then walked half a mile to the Clark bus, took that to Belmont, and caught a brown line train to get to school, making a 50 minute trip into an hour and a forty five minutes), but really, what's a little time in the day of a student? For those contemplating suicide though, really, why the CTA of all places? And CTA officials, if he did really slip on an icy platform, what are you going to do about it?

Comments:
You're one to talk. Where were you around that time yesterday? I've seen you jostle people on the el platforms, and in fact, you almost pushed me down in the middle of State St. earlier this week. Sounds like you're trying to cover your tracks...
