Convenience
Almost anything you want can be found pretty easily in Chicago. Cabs in my neighborhood any time you want them? Okay, not so much, but I digress. What's making me happy today is easily accessible art. At school and want to do something with a friend on a Friday afternoon? The Art Institute is a three minute walk away from DePaul, and only $7 for students. Want to go on a fun weeknight date with your boyfriend? The Logan Square Auditorium is about a three minute walk from home, and Destroyer played there last night. Walking to the Daley Center from school for your trial advocacy class? Take Dearborn and you can pass by the Chagall mosaic and the Flamingo while you recite your opening statement to yourself.
