Wow, they weren't kidding
BarBri began this week and I'm already finding it to be a lot of work. Maybe it's because I had a nice relaxing break beforehand (Puerto Rico was fantastic), but this has been kind of a rough week. Here's how it works: get up in the morning in time to make it downtown by class at 9 (I like to get there early to get a seat in my preferred room), sit in a lecture until 12:30 or so (at the rate of one semester-long subject a day), then go home and review that subject. For me the best way to really review a subject is to make flashcards, and making flashcards for an entire subject takes a LONG time. There are nightly assignments of essay questions or multiple choice questions. I'm also doing PMBR which recommends that I do 50 of their multiple choice questions a day. I have yet to really settle into a routine, but I'm starting to figure it out. Since I'll be doing this for two straight months I don't want to burn out early on, so I'm trying to pace myself. Right now I'm just wishing there were more hours in the day.
